ADHOC Condemn the Crackdown on Freedom of Expression


The Cambodian Human Rights and Development Association (ADHOC) strongly condemned a crackdown on the freedom of expression and the detention of four youths including its human rights worker who was on duty to monitor the gathering of the natural activists of the Mother Nature Movement.

LANGO Passed Amid Security Highly Restricted


As expected, the draft law on associations and non-governmental organizations (LANGO) was passed by the National Assembly in the morning of 13 July 2015. Governmental security forces restricted access to the National Assembly of some 500 protesters, who rallied against the controversial bill.
